A Week of Talent, Teamwork, and Growth

From 10 to 16 December 2025, Santo Nicholas School held its annual Internal Competition Week for Primary levels, bringing a week of excitement, creativity, and friendly competition to our school. Guided by the theme “Unleash Your Best,” the event encouraged students to explore their strengths, challenge themselves, and showcase their abilities with confidence.

Students took part in a wide variety of competitions across different areas. Creative and academic talents were highlighted through Robotics, conducted in collaboration with Xpert Academy, and Colouring, while academic challenges such as the Spelling Bee and Trivia Quiz required students to advance through multiple rounds, testing not only their knowledge but also their focus, consistency, and confidence under pressure.

Meanwhile, sports competitions such as Table Tennis, Badminton, and Basketball filled the week with energy and teamwork. The Badminton and Basketball competitions were conducted in collaboration with Roxit Academy, providing students with professional guidance and a structured environment that enhanced their learning and competitive experience. Through these events, students learned the importance of discipline, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

Throughout the week, the school atmosphere was lively and supportive. Teachers and classmates cheered one another on, celebrating effort, courage, and participation just as much as achievement.  Many students stepped out of their comfort zones, especially those joining competitions for the first time. One of our Primary 1 student shared that he felt very nervous as it was his first time participating in a competition, but encouragement from home helped him stay positive. “ My dad told me to do my best,” he said, reflecting the spirit of the event.

The SNS Primary Internal Competition Week 2025 was a meaningful and memorable experience for all, reminding our students that every effort counts and that everyone has the potential to unleash their best.
